Dear Nebraska IPL Friends,

This is the time of year when we traditionally reflect on everything we’re grateful for. At Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light, we are grateful for many things, including:

  • The Omaha Public Power District setting a goal for net zero carbon emissions and deciding to invest in 600 MW of solar energy.
  • A successful Nebraska Youth Climate Summit that brought more than 80 young people together to learn about climate change and ways to take action.
  • Leadership on legislation that protects the rights of farmers and ranchers against environmental degradation by irresponsible neighbors.
  • People like you joining the effort to protect our planet and advance climate solutions.

Giving Tuesday is next Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Contributions made on Giving Tuesday will be matched, meaning that your contribution will have twice the impact. Please join us in contributing to Nebraska Interfaith Power & Light on December 3, 2019.

Thanks for all you do to make the world a better place.
